Boost teamwork and enhance employee interaction by allowing employees to give classes, conduct presentations and hold discussions.
Stage 1 Employees become a trainer and a small group leader of 5 co-workers and give classes, conduct presentations, and hold discussions. This is considered a training session. This is where each employee gives a training session where they are in charge of the small group until their training session is completed. Once completed, the co-workers perform an evaluation of the trainer. The trainer does not evaluate their co-workers, or provide a demonstration, nor do they perform a practice session. The co-works conduct an oral evaluation on the trainer once their session is completed. A small group consists of 4-6 employees. Once an employe has completed their training session, the next employee gives their training session. This process continues until each employee has given their training session.
Stage 2 Once employees' complete stage 1, they go the next level which is the main method. In the main method, employees learn how to give demonstrations, develop and write 5 standards for their training session, learn how to perform a practice session which includes providing on-the-spot corrections, then give their co-workers an evaluation on those 5 standards. Finally, the co-workers evaluate the trainer. Employees also learn how to write and design their lesson plan or POI.

LEADER TRAINING METHOD
One CEO believes in allowing his employees to become trainers why doesn't your company?
Mr. Mike Kapple, he is the CEO of Patriot Software, LLC. He wrote an article in Forbes Magazine (Feb 7, 2018, issue). Mike wrote about the “5 Tips for Successful Small Business Employee Training.” He said:
1. Create a Plan Before you can make an employee training program, you must first determine what you want your employees to learn.
2. Host Regular Training Sessions You should hold regular training sessions for employees. Frequent Training can help maintain skills and knowledge. It’s also a great way to teach advanced skills in a subject matter.
3. Use Employees as Trainers Even though you’re a business owner or manager, you might not know the nitty-gritty details of every employee’s job. This would be a good time to find an employee who does and uses them as the trainer.
4. Cross Train Workers Teach employees how to do the job of other employees. They not only gain the skills of their new job but often become more proficient in their current job.
5. Set Training Goals Set goals for your employees to obtain and have them make goals as well and review them together. Keeping your employees involved in every aspect of their jobs will foster higher performance and job satisfaction.
Mike Kappel is the founder and CEO of Patriot Software, LLC. We help American Businesses and their Accountants with cloud-based Payroll and Accounting Software. I know what small business owners and entrepreneurs face because I've faced it myself.
As you can see, Mr. Kapple not only believes that holding regular training sessions are important for his company, he also believes that allowing employees to become a trainer is just as important. This is why taking Mr. Ledin's course on the small group leader training method will assist yourself and your company in training employees to becoming trainers.
